ikTok Scammers – Stay Alert
Gone are the days when people got robbed in the streets for their wallets — because hardly anyone carries cash anymore. But that doesn’t mean scammers have disappeared. Instead, they’ve adapted. Today, the modern scammer operates online, and platforms like TikTok are one of their favourite hunting grounds.
These scammers use clever tricks, fake profiles, and emotional manipulation to try and take advantage of unsuspecting users. Whether it’s fake giveaways, romance scams, or dodgy links in comments or DMs, their goal is always the same: to get your personal information or your money.
Stay vigilant.
If something feels off, it probably is. Don’t give out your details, don’t click on suspicious links, and never send money to anyone you don’t know or trust.
