Dealing with TikTok Trolls
Trolls thrive on attention — and the only way they succeed is if you engage with them. The moment a troll enters your live and starts saying inappropriate or negative things, your best move is simple: delete and block them immediately.
Many people make the mistake of trying to defend themselves or argue back. Unfortunately, this only fuels the troll and makes the situation worse. Trolls feed off reactions — don’t give them what they want.
At the first sign of trouble, whether someone is being rude, making offensive comments, or just acting off, take action. Do not delay. Do not retaliate.
For some, trolling is a hobby — not a good one, but a hobby nonetheless. Their goal is to bring people down, get attention, and cause disruption. They log onto TikTok specifically to stir up negativity.
Don’t let them win.
Stay focused on your content, your community, and your goals. Keep your space positive by removing negativity the moment it appears.
Block early. Block often. Protect your energy.
